I like nothing more than to lace up my trainers and run around my favourite routes in all weathers, the muddier and wetter the better, with a huge grin on my face. And the same goes for the bike – but I prefer a sunny day.
I put together a good string of race results in 2007 including a bronze at the European Duathlon Championships. And now, after a two and a half year enforced break from competition, I have started training again with renewed vigour, begun competitive running for Bristol and West AC and will start competing in multi-sport events during the 2010 season.
The long break has reconfirmed and reignited my love for endurance sports and I am really looking forward to the coming racing season and beyond.
